The Golden Full Moon Maple is a very slow growing ornamental maple with deeply cut leaves. The leaves are pale yellow in spring that turn to a darker yellow and green in summer. In autumn the leaves turn gold on the inside and red on the margins. The purplish red flowers are followed by reddish winged fruit. Few Japanese Maples surpass its autumn brilliance.
